We are thrilled to host a women-specific group – designed by women for women, The Shooting Stars of Indy Arms!

The Shooting Stars is an EXPERIENCE for all women! Designed and led by women, becoming a STAR is open to many experience levels, including newer shooters with a class pre-requisite (see below).   Did you know that the firearms community is rapidly growing and includes women of all backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, and orientations? We love being inclusive and we’d love to have you join us!

What can I expect?

A supportive group of women, educational activities in the classroom and live-fire on the range with certified instructors, special guests, planned social activities, and opportunities to shoot with like-minded people.

When do the STARS meet?

Usually the first Wednesday of each month, 6-8pm at Indy Arms Company, unless of a holiday; please check the calendar for details.

I want to be a STAR! How do I join in on the fun? What should I bring?

We would love to have you! Here are a few things to know:

• To further support safety on the range, attendees must have taken either Intro to Handgun or Basic Defensive Handgun classes at Indy Arms Company, or, an equivalent class from a different learning institution before joining STARS for the first time. STARS is an educational event, and not a formal class, and we want to ensure quality instruction is provided and understood prior to attending.

• Sign the waiver from Indy Arms Company
• Purchase your ticket in advance – tickets are limited and are first-come, first served.
• Meetings are $20 – this covers classroom time, educational materials, range time, free rental gun, eye + ear protection, and any other materials needed that night.
• If you have your own firearm(s), feel free to bring it. If you use a free rental gun, you’ll need to use ammunition purchased at Indy Arms Company.
• That’s it! No membership fee, no annual fee, just come as you are! We are excited to see you!
