“I got so much out of the class last night and appreciate all the follow-up info!  As a newbie, your class has changed my perspective on things I can be practicing at the range and with dry fire at home (I.e…no more singular focus of just “hitting the round bullseye”). “Thanks for the certificate, another step towards becoming a responsible gun owner/carrier. I never owned a firearm before, but at age 69 and after five operations on shoulders/knees I find myself feeling I could no longer protect my wife and me if I had to. After purchasing a Sig P365X at Indy Arms I vowed I would first become as proficient at the law and the operation of a sidearm as I could before I carried. I take this as an obligation and responsibility not to be taken lightly. Since my retirement at the end of 2022 my wife and I plan on traveling and especially hiking, many times in the middle of nowhere. I believe what I’ve purchased is no different than an insurance policy and means of leveling the playing field if need be. Where I had a high level of trepidation of owning/carrying I now am replacing trepidation with confidence (albeit still a low level) thanks to practice on the range (this is not a cheap sport!!) and the courses I’ve taken thus far at Indy Arms. Many thanks.

I appreciated Tactical I, and will be signing up for II and III as soon as timely with your calendar and offering. I also have other courses I’ll be signing up for. Joshua (as were the other two instructors) was an outstanding instructor. He had a good sense of humor, but you could tell when he was serious about a point. I learned a great deal, and also got much food for thought for practice. Candidly, I was not aware of the science behind carrying responsibly; one doesn’t just draw, point, and shoot. If Joshua were to teach Tactical II as well, my goal will be to impress him with how much I practiced what he taught us in Tactical I.

My experience with Indy Arms thus far has been more than I hoped for. I live in Muncie and am not at all confident in what is offered locally – though a bit of a drive between here and your store, I’ve found it to be absolutely worth it. Many thanks to Joshua and everyone at Indy Arms, so far I’ve found nothing other than a high degree of professionalism.”

“Meghan, Thank you so much for last night’s experience (Basic Defensive Handgun Women Only).  I was just so amazed by how good the class was and what a great instructor you are. So much information packed into that three hour classroom experience.  I will admit, much of it was review for me since I spend a lot of time around gun people.  However, that said, good review and I learned new things and also some things “gelled” in my head for the first time.  I would highly recommend this course to any female who wants to shoot a handgun.  It is my belief that training is essential  and your course is priceless.”

“Just wanted to pass along that I took tonight’s skill builder with Joshua (multiple targets/reload) and it was great.  Especially since we had more than a full house and we were still able to get through the entire course of fire alternating in two relays.  He had control of the class from a curriculum standpoint and from a control/safety standpoint, even though we had some relatively new folks in the group. … I felt like as a group we learned a thing or three and had fun.  Joshua really has a passion for shooting and for teaching…it shows in how well he engages and motivates the class.”

“I took basic defensive handgun with Meghan and wow!! I cannot say enough good things about the course and the instructor. Everything was organized, the information presented was logical and given in an easy to digest format with an appropriate level of humor to make the class not only informative, but fun as well. Because classes are small, range time was almost like having my own personal instructor. Meghan saw errors before I even made them and was able to offer safety reminders and fixes. I feel so much more confident in the handling of my weapon and highly recommend this course. Take it with Meghan too! You won’t regret it. She’s knowledgeable, passionate, professional, and fun.
